AAN’s Middle-Class Growth Initiative Launches Spanish-Language Radio Ads on Tax Reform

Targeted five-week campaign in six congressional districts WASHINGTON – American Action Network’s Middle-Class Growth Initiative (MCGI) launched a targeted, Spanish-language radio ad campaign highlighting America’s broken tax code and urging conservative lawmakers to make middle-class tax relief a priority. The campaign will run in six congressional districts, and is part of AAN’s pledge to spend $5 million during August recess. Each ad is unique and will have an English version airing simultaneously. “It’s time to reform America’s outdated, unfair, and complicated tax code. With the White House and Congress united on tax reform, there’s no better time to give hard-working families relief than now,” said Corry Bliss, AAN Executive Director. “We want this message to reach all communities, in every corner of the country. Hispanic middle-class families have seen less opportunity and stagnant wages for too long. Their voice in this debate is critical, we urge them to contact their representative and ask for a tax code that prioritizes more jobs and higher wages for hard-working families.” The ads will air in the districts of Representatives Martha McSally (AZ-02), Jeff Denham (CA-10), Steve Knight (CA-25), David Valadao (CA-21), Carlos Curbelo (FL-26), and Will Hurd (TX-23).
