AAN Releases National Seniors Healthcare Survey

With the Obama Administration recently cutting Medicare Advantage rates, American Action Network polled seniors nationally to gain an understanding of their viewpoints on the healthcare law and the recent cuts. The poll was conducted by the Tarrance Group last week.

Among the key findings:

The view of the ACA among seniors is a net -9 points worse than the whole electorate.
67% of seniors on Medicare Advantage have a positive view of the program.
54% of seniors and 63% of those on Medicare Advantage believe the Obama Administration made the wrong decision cutting MA
6 in 10 seniors would be less likely to vote to re-elect a Democrat Member of Congress who supported Obamacare despite the fact that it cuts Medicare Advantage by $156 billion.
