Vicente Gonzalez backs pink slips for oil and gas workers

Vicente Gonzalez announced his support for Pelosi’s disastrous tax and spending proposal, writing that he supports “swift passage of the President’s $3.5 trillion reconciliation package” – even though it puts 47,000 Texas oil and gas jobs at risk.

Texans rely on oil and gas to make ends meet for their families, and Gonzalez is selling out every single one of them for Nancy Pelosi’s reckless agenda.

“It’s a shame Texans can’t count on Vicente Gonzalez to stand up and fight to protect their jobs,” said AAN Communications Director Calvin Moore. “47,000 Texas oil and gas jobs are on the line, but Gonzalez would rather spend trillions on a park in Pelosi’s district and handouts to elite liberal universities than protect the livelihood of working folks in his district.”
