PRESS RELEASE: WALSH: CORWIN’S WIN SHOWS AMERICANS AREN’T AFRAID TO ADDRESS TOUGH FISCAL QUESTIONS

WASHINGTON – American Action Network President Brian Walsh today issued the following statement in reaction to Jane Corwin’s victory in the special election in New York’s 26th Congressional District:

“Jane Corwin’s victory is proof that New Yorkers recognize that business as usual in Washington just won’t cut it,” Walsh said. “Those in Washington who seek political gain by demagoguing serious attempts to protect seniors and balance the budget are now on notice: the scare tactics don’t work anymore. Our sincere congratulations go out to Congresswoman-elect Corwin and the voters of New York’s 26th District as well.”
