American Action Network President Dan Conston Slams Hearing On Socialized Health Care

As the House Budget Committee convenes today for a hearing on the left’s plans to force every American into substandard, government-run health care, American Action Network President Dan Conston released the following statement:

“The liberal vision for health care is backwards, heartless, and cruel – ripping away the health care more than 180 million Americans rely on,” said AAN President Dan Conston. “Their plan would force local hospitals to close their doors, drive longer waits for treatment and give government bureaucrats power to deny the vital care patients need. These nightmares are common in socialized medicine around the world and it will happen here too if these radical ideas are not rejected outright. Today’s hearing showcases how the left is putting blind allegiance to their government-first mentality over Americans’ health care and they should be ashamed of themselves.”
