American Action Network Congratulates Rod Blum in Iowa’s 1st District Election

WASHINGTON – American Action Network (@AAN) Chairman and former Senator Norm Coleman (R-MN) issued the following statement on tonight’s election results in Iowa’s 1st Congressional District. AAN spent $800,000 in independent expenditures in the IA-01 race on TV advertising, online advertising and GOTV efforts.

“Congratulations to Rod Blum on his election victory. I couldn’t be any more proud of a race we got involved in than this one. Defying political assumptions, families in Iowa’s 1st district have rewarded Rod Blum’s strong and results-oriented leadership in Congress. Rod has fought tirelessly against Washington’s record of wasteful spending and onerous regulations to help create more opportunities for families and small businesses. We are excited to see Rod’s service and commitment to Iowa families being rewarded.”

In 2016, American Action Network and its sister super PAC, Congressional Leadership Fund, spent a combined $48 million in independent expenditures in 32 U.S. House races.
