AAN Targets Two Million Households with Direct Mail to Promote AHCA

Targeting households in 26 congressional districts nationwide

WASHINGTON – American Action Network (@AAN) today announced a direct mail campaign as part of an ongoing, multi-platform effort to support the American Health Care Act (AHCA). Highlighting key provisions in the AHCA, the mail campaign urges constituents to call and thank their representative for keeping their promise to deliver a better health care system. The member-specific mailers will hit two million households in 26 congressional districts nationwide. 

“Americans have had enough of the Affordable Care Act’s failures. Health care premiums continue to rise, more than one-third of counties have only one insurer left, and an entire state may end up with zero options for coverage next year. That’s far from what was promised seven years ago,” said Corry Bliss, AAN Executive Director. “The AHCA will give families real choice, better coverage and lower premiums. AAN will continue to promote the AHCA and thank lawmakers for keeping their promise and fighting for better health care.”

The mail campaign is part of AAN’s previously announced commitment to support lawmakers who voted in favor of patient-centered health care reform. Immediately following passage of the AHCA, AAN launched a television advertising campaign followed by radio and digital ads to highlight the merits of the bill.
