AAN Statement On H.R. 3 Hearing in House E&C Subcommittee on Health

American Action Network President Dan Conston released the following statement on the House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee’s hearing today on H.R. 3, Nancy Pelosi’s socialist takeover of the nation’s prescription drugs.

“If there’s one thing we should have learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s that America is far too reliant on medicine and supplies from hostile nations like China,” said AAN President Dan Conston. “But instead of learning from our mistakes, Nancy Pelosi is intent on pushing socialist price controls that will send drug production overseas and make our reliance on foreign nations for lifesaving medications all the worse. Instead, liberals in Congress should stand up for bipartisan reforms like H.R. 19 that will lower the costs of drugs without selling out our health care system to China.”
