AAN Releases “Sidekick” Ad Campaign Against Pete Gallego
WASHINGTON – The American Action Network (@AAN) today released the ad “Sidekick” in Texas’ 23rd congressional district race, highlighting Pete Gallego’s record as President Obama’s big spender in Congress.
Pete Gallego supports President Obama’s health care law that spends more than $2 Trillion, according to the Congressional Budget Office. And when President Obama wants more spending, Pete Gallego is his reliable defender – voting with Democrats 80% of the time.
This broadcast TV and online advertising buy is part of AAN’s $500,000 in independent expenditures in the TX-23 race. AAN’s sister organization, Congressional Leadership Fund super PAC, is spending $1.1 million in the race, bringing the combined independent expenditures of AAN and CLF to $1.6 Million.
