AAN Launches New TV and Digital Ads in 29 Districts on Impeachment

Today, the American Action Network launched the next wave of its $2.5 million advertising campaign on impeachment. Starting today, AAN will begin airing new television and digital ads in the districts of all 29 Trump-district Members of Congress that voted for impeachment, with television ads running in 11 of the districts.

The ads feature moms expressing their frustration with Members of Congress for sidelining important work on the issues that matter – like securing the border or addressing the opioid epidemic – and becoming consumed with their partisan crusade to impeach President Trump.

Example ads are below, while a full break down and list of districts can be accessed here.

In the weeks leading up to and following the House’s vote to impeach President Trump, AAN has been leading the charge in the efforts to legislatively fight against impeachment. In total, AAN will have spent $11 million blanketing the airwaves in 30 districts with broadcast and cable television as well as digital and online media, which amounts to more than half of the total outside group spending against impeachment. For additional details, see AAN’s earlier announcements herehere and here.

“Folks at home want to know why Members of Congress allowed themselves to become so consumed by their partisan desire to impeach Trump that they are ignoring their promises to deliver on the most important issues in front of Congress,” said AAN President Dan Conston. “They have put their obsession with impeaching Trump above what’s best for their constituents, and Americans are imploring them to focus on the issues that matter.”
On television, new ads will run in the districts below, while similar messages will run on digital in all 29 districts. A full breakdown is here.
