AAN Doubles Down On Campaign To Stop Pelosi’s Drug Takeover

American Action Network doubled down on its campaign to stop Nancy Pelosi’s socialist prescription drug takeover, expanding its $4 million effort announced last week by an additional $1 million and adding new TV and digital ads to 5 House Districts.

The newest ads spotlight how Pelosi’s plan would send drug manufacturing marching overseas and make Americans reliant on China for lifesaving medications. AAN’s expanded buys will bring new TV and digital to the districts of Representatives Jared Golden (ME-02), Elaine Luria (VA-02), Matt Cartwright (PA-08), Chris Pappas (NH-01) and digital to the district of Susan Wild (PA-07).

“The COVID pandemic has shown us all first-hand that we must urgently reduce our dependence on China for medical supplies and lifesaving medications,” said AAN President Dan Conston. “But instead of learning from these mistakes, Pelosi wants to force us into socialist price controls that will threaten our national security and send drug manufacturing to hostile nations like China. Liberals should abandon this reckless plan and instead choose bipartisan reforms that will reduce the cost of prescriptions without risking our health or security.”

An updated breakdown of the districts involved in the overall campaign is available here.
