AAN Launches Ad Campaign Thanking Derrick Van Orden for Historic Tax Cuts, Stopping Death Tax

(WASHINGTON) — American Action Network today launched a campaign thanking Representative Derrick Van Orden for cutting taxes and voting to protect family farms from the death tax.  

“AAN is thanking Derrick Van Orden for making life more affordable by preventing a $3,177 tax hike for Wisconsin families, cutting taxes on tips and overtime and protecting farmers from the death tax,” said AAN Spokeswoman Lydia Hall. “While liberals in Congress want to hike taxes and use the money for radical ideas like sex changes for minors, Van Orden is stopping them and saving Wisconsinites money.”

This campaign is part of a larger $22 million summer issue advocacy push on broadcast, digital and mail highlighting the stark contrast between conservatives and liberals on lowering costs and federal spending priorities.

As part of the Working Families Tax Cut, House Republicans delivered the largest tax cut in American history, cut taxes on tips and overtime and lowered taxes for social security beneficiaries. Meanwhile, House Democrats voted to raise taxes on working families and wasted federal money on radical priorities like taxpayer-funded sex changes for minors.

This summer issue advocacy campaign brings AAN’s total investment to a record $62 million in a single Congress.
