AAN launches ad campaign on Vasquez’s radical, violent rhetoric
WASHINGTON – American Action Network today launched a new issue advocacy campaign in New Mexico’s Second Congressional District highlighting Rep. Gabe Vasquez’s dangerous rhetoric and votes against law enforcement.
Gabe Vasquez said there should be “No more delays, no more excuses. Remove the national threat from office,” referencing President Trump.
The campaign also spotlights Vasquez’s vote against funding for law enforcement and ICE.
The ads are part of a national $5 million issue advocacy campaign explaining how liberals’ pro-criminal policies and persistent use of violent, radical rhetoric led to a toxic environment that scares Americans.
The Center for Strategic & International Studies found 2025 is “on pace to be the left’s most violent year in more than three decades.”
In addition, a recent Gallup poll found the issues of crime and national unity are “reverberating with Americans,” as mentions of crime or violence climbed to their “highest level since August 2020 — and before that, 2002.”

“Congressman Gabe Vasquez’s rhetoric and actions are wildly irresponsible for an elected official,” said AAN spokeswoman Lydia Hall. “Gabe Vasquez needs to stop the radical rhetoric and start voting to keep New Mexico safe.”
There are 15 districts included in AAN’s new issue advocacy campaign, for a full list see here or read more in Axios.
