AAN launches ad campaign on Suozzi’s radical, violent rhetoric

WASHINGTON – American Action Network today launched a new issue advocacy campaign in New York’s Third Congressional District, highlighting Rep. Tom Suozzi’s dangerous rhetoric and votes against law enforcement.

During a town hall, Tom Suozzi suggested using the Second Amendment against President Trump.

The campaign also spotlights Suozzi’s vote against funding for law enforcement and ICE.

The ads are part of a national $5 million issue advocacy campaign explaining how liberals’ pro-criminal policies and persistent use of violent, radical rhetoric led to a toxic environment that scares Americans.

The Center for Strategic & International Studies found 2025 is “on pace to be the left’s most violent year in more than three decades.”

In addition, a recent Gallup poll found the issues of crime and national unity are “reverberating with Americans,” as mentions of crime or violence climbed to their “highest level since August 2020 — and before that, 2002.”

You can watch the ad here.

“With a surge in leftist radical violence, Tom Suozzi helped spark the flame by suggesting Americans should use the Second Amendment against Trump,” said AAN spokeswoman Lydia Hall. “Congressman Suozzi needs to stop the radical rhetoric and start voting to keep New York safe.”

There are 15 districts included in AAN’s new issue advocacy campaign, for a full list see here or read more in Axios.
