AAN launches ad campaign on Gonzalez’s radical, violent rhetoric
WASHINGTON – American Action Network today launched a new issue advocacy campaign in Texas’ Thirty-Fourth Congressional District, highlighting Rep. Vicente Gonzalez’s dangerous rhetoric and votes against law enforcement.
In 2024, Vicente Gonzalez said “when you see ‘Latinos for Trump,’ to me it is like seeing ‘Jews for Hitler,’” which caused outrage among many of his constituents.
The campaign also spotlights Gonzalez’s vote against funding for law enforcement and ICE.
The ads are part of a national $5 million issue advocacy campaign explaining how liberals’ pro-criminal policies and persistent use of violent, radical rhetoric led to a toxic environment that scares Americans.
The Center for Strategic & International Studies found 2025 is “on pace to be the left’s most violent year in more than three decades.”
In addition, a recent Gallup poll found the issues of crime and national unity are “reverberating with Americans,” as mentions of crime or violence climbed to their “highest level since August 2020 — and before that, 2002.”
You can watch the ad here.
“At a time where leftist radical violence is climbing at an alarming rate, Vicente Gonzalez is fueling the flames by calling Latino Trump supporters ‘Jews for Hitler,’” said AAN spokeswoman Lydia Hall. “Instead of using inflammatory, radical rhetoric, Vicente Gonzalez must start voting to keep Texans safe.”
There are 15 districts included in AAN’s new issue advocacy campaign, for a full list see here or read more in Axios.
