AAN launches ad campaign on Golden’s Crime Complicity
WASHINGTON – American Action Network today launched a new issue advocacy campaign in Maine’s Second Congressional District highlighting Rep. Jared Golden’s lack of leadership as elected officials are targeted and innocent civilians are killed.
The campaign also spotlights Golden’s vote against funding for law enforcement and ICE.
The ads are part of a national $5 million issue advocacy campaign explaining how liberals’ pro-criminal policies and persistent use of violent, radical rhetoric led to a toxic environment that scares Americans.
The Center for Strategic & International Studies found 2025 is “on pace to be the left’s most violent year in more than three decades.”
In addition, a recent Gallup poll found the issues of crime and national unity are “reverberating with Americans,” as mentions of crime or violence climbed to their “highest level since August 2020 — and before that, 2002.”

“Jared Golden shows no leadership at all as radicals from Golden’s own Democrat Party spew hateful rhetoric and launch violent attacks across the country,” said AAN spokeswoman Lydia Hall. “It’s time Jared Golden shows Maine responsible leadership. He must start voting to keep Maine safe.”
There are 15 districts included in AAN’s new issue advocacy campaign, for a full list see here or read more in Axios.
