AAN launches ad campaign on Gluesenkamp Perez’s radical, violent rhetoric

WASHINGTON – American Action Network today launched a new issue advocacy campaign in Washington’s Third Congressional District, highlighting Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez’s dangerous rhetoric and votes against law enforcement.

On multiple occasions, Gluesenkamp Perez referred to Donald Trump and her opponents as fascists.

The campaign also spotlights Gluesenkamp Perez’s vote against funding for law enforcement and ICE.

The ads are part of a national $5 million issue advocacy campaign explaining how liberals’ pro-criminal policies and persistent use of violent, radical rhetoric led to a toxic environment that scares Americans.

The Center for Strategic & International Studies found 2025 is “on pace to be the left’s most violent year in more than three decades.”

In addition, a recent Gallup poll found the issues of crime and national unity are “reverberating with Americans,” as mentions of crime or violence climbed to their “highest level since August 2020 — and before that, 2002.”

You can watch the ad here.

“With a surge in leftist radical violence, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez helped spark the flame by calling Donald Trump and Republicans ‘fascists,’” said AAN spokeswoman Lydia Hall. “Gluesenkamp Perez needs to stop the woke, radical rhetoric and start voting to keep Washington safe.”

There are 15 districts included in AAN’s new issue advocacy campaign, for a full list see here or read more in Axios.
