AAN launches ad campaign on Davis’ Crime Complicity

WASHINGTON – American Action Network today launched a new issue advocacy campaign in North Carolina’s First Congressional District highlighting Rep. Don Davis’ lack of leadership as elected officials are targeted and innocent civilians are killed.

When an innocent woman was brutally murdered in Charlotte by a man with 14 prior arrests and out of jail on cashless bail, Don Davis was silent for weeks.

The campaign also spotlights Davis’ vote against funding for law enforcement and ICE.

The ads are part of a national $5 million issue advocacy campaign explaining how liberals’ pro-criminal policies and persistent use of violent, radical rhetoric led to a toxic environment that scares Americans.

The Center for Strategic & International Studies found 2025 is “on pace to be the left’s most violent year in more than three decades.”

In addition, a recent Gallup poll found the issues of crime and national unity are “reverberating with Americans,” as mentions of crime or violence climbed to their “highest level since August 2020 — and before that, 2002.”

You can watch the ad here.

Don Davis shows no leadership at all as radicals spew hateful rhetoric and launch violent attacks across the country,” said AAN spokeswoman Lydia Hall. “Don Davis must start voting to make North Carolina safe, especially after an innocent woman was brutally murdered by a criminal who was allowed to roam the streets because of Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies.”

There are 15 districts included in AAN’s new issue advocacy campaign, for a full list see here or read more in Axios.
