AAN Congratulates David Valadao in California’s 21 District Election

WASHINGTON – American Action Network (@AAN) Chairman and former U.S. Senator Norm Coleman (R-MN) issued the following statement on the election results in California’s 21st Congressional District race. AAN and its sister super PAC, Congressional Leadership Fund, spent nearly $700,000 in independent expenditures in the CA-21 general race on TV advertising, digital advertising and GOTV efforts.

“David Valadao is consistently underestimated by pundits –but not by the people who know him best: the voters of the Central Valley. David is known as an independent, results-oriented leader who will work across party lines to get things done. Whether it’s Obamacare’s skyrocketing costs or a struggling economy, David can be counted on to fight for center-right solutions that will help Californians succeed. We are excited to see that David’s hard work and commitment on behalf of the 21st district is being rewarded.”

In 2016, American Action Network and CLF spent a combined $48 million in independent expenditures in 32 U.S. House races.

The American Action Network is a 501(c)(4) ‘action tank’ that creates, encourages and promotes center-right policies based on the principles of freedom, limited government, American exceptionalism, and strong national security. The American Action Network’s primary goal is to put our center-right ideas into action by engaging the hearts and minds of the American people and spurring them into action to advance our center-right policy agenda.
